The new series will have eight races over four events at Mondello Park starting at the season opener on April 13th & 14th. A precedent was set at the 2018 Leinster Trophy where a combination of Supercars, ITCC and GT Endurance cars produced a full grid and excellent racing, and the aim is to reproduce this on a regular basis by combining the Supercar and Seat Championships with GT cars.
With a number of different closed wheel championships looking for races, on a very busy calendar, a decision has been made in conjunction with Motorsport Ireland, to amalgamate those classes.
Mondello Park is pleased to announce that due to demand for track time by a range of sports and saloon racing championships a Closed Wheel Libre race will be introduced for 2019. Closed Wheel Libre returns to Mondello Park March 15, 2019
